|Beginning Tai Chi & Qigong for Health

This class will teach the Yang Family Long Form 108 along with Qigong organ exercises. It will begin with learning standing postures, breath control and breath control in movement. It will also include Tai Chi walking and preparation for the organ exercises. There is no competition in this class.; all movement will be modified to suit your current abilities and/or limitations.
This exercise will help to improve those with arthritic conditions that currently are causing less mobility and less activity. Other benefits are improved balance, improved circulation, the lowering of blood pressure, increased flexibility and enhanced breathing. This is also a great program for relaxing the mind in preparation for meditation as the form itself is a moving meditation. Taught by Neal Arida.

$35 a month for members / $65 for non-members;
drop-in fee: $10 per class for members / $15 for non-members
